Ohio Wesleyan Lands Big One –McCain To Speak At Commencement

Weslyan1U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., will discuss the importance of character and service when he delivers the keynote address at Ohio Wesleyan University’s May 9, 2010, commencement ceremony.

McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential candidate, has served as a federal lawmaker since 1982, when he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. After two terms in the House, he was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986.

McCain currently serves as the ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and as a member of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources; Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions; Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and Committee on Indian Affairs..
